IMO nobody should be added as a game mod unless they don't play alliance. They need to have a healthy detachment from the politics, grudges, etc. That's where all of the issues come from.

I generally like MD. They're not whiners like a lot of other alliances. :) I'm only mad because they lied in their war dec and declared war on us (not this set, the first time). SoF and MD should have never fought, EVER. It was a huge and stupid mistake.

For some of us these forums are the cancer, but I can certainly understand why some would say the game politics are cancer. In a lot of instances though I'd blame the poor results in game to poor leadership or leadership decisions. Either way I think you'll find that leaving a game that brings you no joy is quite refreshing. I enjoyed my long break from the game and I have enjoyed it much more now while having a healthy detachment.

Most of these arguments are fluffing stupid. Look at prohibition, the war on drugs, etc. It will not work.

First off, you can't get all of the guns. If you ban all guns you're empowering criminals because I guarantee they'll have them.

Secondly, what some are suggesting is taking away everyone's guns and freedom because of a small percentage of lunatics that might shoot someone (these same lunatics could still get their hands on guns illegally).

Lastly, saying that banning guns will stop these violent crimes is about as stupid as saying if you ban guns they're going to start hijacking planes or doing suicide bombs.

If someone is suggesting we tighten gun laws I could respect that, saying to ban guns is idiotic.
