Hanlong and TC abused the trust appointed to them in this game. Does that warrant a dressing down in RL? Not necessarily. Honestly though, I wouldn't feel bad about informing somebodies employers about the duplicitous nature of one of their employees.

Would anyone here argue that Hanlong is a very noble, honest person in RL? That he's above reproach? Again, not saying he deserves to be fired from a job in RL, but if I was an employer, and someone could prove facts like that to me about an employee, I'd be appreciative. Is that someone who you'd want to be in charge one day?

(I have no idea of the exact circumstances, but still. That was lowdown. He weighed the risks and decided it was worth it.)

I haven't had an issue with the bladder, but then again I don't try and use it directly and bought a pretty decent faucet rather than the bite valve. I use it mainly to fill bottles and it's attached to my rucksack which I don't take on hikes or rides.

Our last big camp was in China and out in the country a ways, and over the week we all learned our lesson about cheap and not dedicated water bottles.

I'm sorry, and I see where you're coming from, but a lot of those arguments just sound really "white people's problems".

Just the name of this game kind of makes me want to play AATrade again...that game is fun, but has such a terribly small player base. There's only 30 players in the main game ATM.

Well, it's a good thing you weren't armed, as everyone came out alive, and no innocent people were killed. There was a bar fight by my house a year or two ago, a guy that lived above the bar drunkenly punched an out-of-towner who hadn't done anything to the guy, ended up knocking the guy's head into the curb and killing him, he's now doing at least 5 years for homicide. Why not just have it have the same effect as having not enough food/cash on hand, and have military and population desert? I mean, would real people be happy if their country attacked their allies? Most likely not. The country could still do it, but it would have some pretty bad side effects. :P

Daily. I didn't think the insults were that subtle, and the point of this thread is to poke fun at LaF :P I suppose I should've elaborated that, while being in Evo, I don't really care much for the petty fights between Evo and Laf, although that would've ruined the joke. It's supposed to be a more light hearted version of the threads that end up in laf/evo hate matches...

This in no way reflects the views or opinions of Evo's top leadership, but I think it would be a good way to improve relations between Evo and LaF;

Let's have a membership swap! :D It'll be like a foreign exchange student, where LaF sends Evo some messed up weirdo from an insane country and we teach them the ways of the pure and innocent, and we send an ambassador from Evo to teach their country how to behave properly, and how not to eat kittens and wipe their ass with their hands, and avoid the poopy brown water.

It'll be so awesome!
