Lead the way this set?, I'm teching up as a M right now trying to get an idea as to what to switch too, last set farmers got killed so I'm thinking maybe they will have a come back set, but that's just a wild guess on my part :/

So are you just teching up everything, since you don't know your specialty? Maybe give techer a go... Farmer is not really a good strategy no matter what but almost certainly it should be better than last set.

Haha..farmer is definitely better this age. Facism farmer/Oiler may do well. Or play as a Demo techer if your tech is all over the place. Right now, bushel is bought out and so far tech prices are looking good.

hmm blid how do you know what strats those ppl ran? Like if its a fascists how do you know if it's farmer or oiler? Also last reset's winner was a theo, how can you tell it's a casher and not a TTR, or did you know? Cuz I'm interested in running an oiler, but you didn't mention any as a top 10 finisher so I'm wondering if it's worth it.

Yeah I've mostly heard from the owners or other people what strat the countries were. Pretty sure edfjr never made much oil, and I don't think Beelze did either, although really, he was only in the top ten because he got almost 20,000 free land. There should have been another commie in the top ten instead of any farmers last round.

Yeah. The Theo was a Casher. I peeked at all the top 10s.
20k Free acres. That's yummy for Beelze.
But seriously, oil is sexy once it hits $150 or higher. Last set there was a period of 1-2 weeks when oil was near the upper 200s. oilers must be in heaven at that point.
It's true oil is not so good at stockpiling, but I figure you can either convert rigs into farms once oil drops below 100 or you can just jump a bit early and bite the bullet when oil drops below $100.

But on a serious note, farmer/oilers are looking really nice. $44 dollar bushels. I only wish I had that kind of prices last set.

Average price is $36, which is still crud. That the food market has depleted once or twice though may be a positive sign for farmers going forward.

Well the average price may be low but that number will definitely rise to at least 40 bucks if farmers realize that no one is stocking up on bushels at this point. So if bushels are being bought at $44 dollars, you can easily sell your bushels for a few buck less than $44! Again, this is simply because everyone needs bushels to spend their turns, not because they are stockpiling bushels.

Talking about this server bug. i said "no matter what" to differentiate from techer which can have a rare golden round with great prices. commie/casher is king though. that's why i posted those top 10 breakdowns
