We really need more players, as the server continues to shrink this kinda stuff will keep happening. Or maybe the supply is fine, but the farmers are just hoarding it all and manipulating the market? Either way I’ve never understood why bushels aren’t a reasonable price on the private market? Military is at a perfectly reasonable price, so if there are problems with the public market you can just buy off private. Can’t do that with bushels.

The issue with lowering the price on the PM is that it would also impact how high you can sell them for, which would mean reduced safety from storing them on the market (for better or worse).

I don’t see this. All other items you can purchase on the private market at at reasonable prices. Food should be the same.

Given the slow death of primary, and the current issue this set, I am considering permanently changing strat from commie to farmer to oversupply the market and keep prices below $80 max. All you farmers will never again see a first place finish.

I’m genuinely curious as to what happens if two big farmers get into a big war right now. Would players be able to even run turns? $10,000 bushels?

Seems like anyone who is a techer reseller could have a chance to hit the highest score ever and break that old record of that happens

I am guessing that’s exactly what happened too. Someone out there bought up the market and it was so dry they now have almost complete control over it. One or two wars and they have a monopoly, first time I’ve ever seen that happen.
