There is no such thing as a top feed anymore. To maximize your land gain you need to be the same NW not less or more.

topfeeding still suffer much less penalty than bottomfeeding. Being that bottom feeding will receive a lower %. A topfeeder still lose less land taking a retal.

On the other hand, I'd rather have at least 30 missiles ready and time a good stockpile grab. I really wish I played tyranny techer this round. I would've aimed for someone with 100+mil bushels and billions on hand.

All I gotta do is get sdi up and put my bonus points into expense so i can have high tanks and spies without maintenance cost running away.

yes, but you can't defuse missiles unless they hit you twice or they are not in GDI

yeah a dict can actually match net and PS a rep without much problems while still holding good defense forcing the rep to buy up jets and increasing nw gap forcing the lower % retal.

He gained 6000 acres for that grab, with 9 days to go. 9 days of stocking with 14% more land. Plus stored turns could make it more like 11 or 12 days worth of stocking with that extra land. That grab benefited him hugely.
