I think because stuff like that was happening same time is probably the entire reason hawk got deleted. People doing something he maybe was doing in earnest to cheat server rules.

People were going to continue to push this grey line until the mods/devs reacted, bending rules more and more until someone said no more. Server rules were being bent or flat out broken with multi accts. I dont find it surprising at all that they pushed back hard. Community deserved it for attempting to bend the server rules.
