i assure you that my listening to tupac from a young age and my.. now desensitized use of the word fluff is not me hating anybody. shaquille, a black man, explained to me over a decade ago that, as a white person, my NOT wanting ever to use fluff gives the word all its power- our business ethics.. or whatever class it was, she agreed with him in principle but still asked he and i never to use the word (something about the tdsb having, i don't know, anti hate laws..?)

we can fluff foot around bad people thinking bad things, or we can choose to remove the power they wish they get through use of.. words.. the choice is ours. i choose to remove the meaning, the hate, the dislike from the word, you choose to give the word all of its meaning, all of its power.


i am so god damn smarter than everybody else that it sometimes hurts my feelings.. :(
