How can I convince people that on an individual level most of them have disabled their capacity to understand the world around them by lowering their attention spans, abandoning their duty to pursue education even as a laborer, and general self-empathy turned into outward apathy.

(Remember, this is on an individual level so an individual approach is necessary)

Do I have to wait until their access to resources confronts them with the problem?
