I didn't want to come off insensitive or ignorant, but I don't really watch TV that often. not to mention the fact that the coax cable jack on mine is broken. I could have it fixed, but what with having a laundry list of things to buy, fix or replace already, it's just another hassle I don't want to deal with.
So, the only good thing my TV is for right now, is watching DVD or Blu-Ray movies, and playing my PS3. AS far as the details of the earthquake, I have been watching BBC and other news reports online.
While over 1,000 deaths is bad, it's pretty small compared to some other quakes that have had similar mahnitudes.
