Common mistakes that piss me off: The improper use of there, their and they're... heres a lesson folks... you would use there when you are talking about a place. Example: I found your glasses over there. Now for their. Example: Their seems to be a problem. I wish people would mind their own business! And finally the word they're. The word They're is meant to be a combination of the words they and are together... Therefore, use They're when talking about a group of people and what they are doing. Example: I think they're trying to steal so and so's flatscreen tv.
