Food is expensive, tech is cheap, oil is cheap.

It means there's a buttload of players playing techers and Oilers very few playing farmers and cashers.

When I run 4 cashers to say...400k acres, I use several billion oil barrels in a set. I do this to offset the presence of oilers in my string typically.

What you're seeing is a market reacting to an oversupply of tech and oil and an under supply of other strats to ease the markets.

In other words, "despite food prices, it would have been an awesome set to run a casher because no one did." I think it's a combination of there not being warring this set, and the player base being 80-90% techers.

Answer is really simple. Currently there is a higher active player to bot ratio, and our market was almost 100% bot dependent for purchasing, this was not apparent previously due to there always being a war, and netters were a minority of players.
