This game needs an undo function

I just bought 1.3 billion dollars worth of bushels by accident for $310 per bushel when I meant to buy out my PM of tanks

Mobile game play is terrible

undo button has been in wishes since start of game.

It would be nearly impossible to create an undo action.

Person A:
Accidentally buys tech from market from Person B.

Person B:
Buys food from private market.

Person A hits undo button. Does Person B keep the money?
If no, then you have to undo all of Person B's turns.
If yes, then nothing stops player A from giving player B free money.


If your suggest is for Private Market only.
Player A buys 10,000,000 food accidentally from Private Market.
Player B raids food store on player A and collects 2-3 million food.
Player A undos purchase.

Does player B keep food? Does Player B get his/her turns used to spy?

You could apply this to multiple items, not just food. Troops & CD (cause dissensions),. Jets & BA (bomb airbases).

The only solution is don't hit that purchase button until you are sure.

“Are you sure?” For common actions like buying goods on private can often prove innefective as it becomes habit and merely delays the oh no until you click yes, rather than buy.

The psychology is only once the action is confirmed /finalised does the brain have the “oops” moment.

A better pattern here is an Undo option immediately after submit e.g “you purchased x for y [undo]” which is explicitly where you see the error.

At this point in the backend the tx has not “settled” so you don’t actually have the goods, choosing undo cancels the pending tx, any other action settles it.

All of which is lovely, but who’s got time/inclination to implement that! ;)

Instead of undo button they should make space so its harder to misclick and buy all food when you wanna buy all tanks
