starstalker, it is because you are a fricking idiot. Slagpit is right about #8 and 1 ranks. And likely as not the rest too. Some may have had tech starts but im sure they were cashers. If you werent a bigger idiot you would know that the tpt change actually makes techers worse if there is the same amount of techers as before. Techer does suck on this server. I was the demo techer at rank 8 obviously, and people are idiots with their undercutting and the prices drop so fast its stupid. Also you have to be online so much its awful that way. With my techer the more I was on the better I did.

theres three factors:

1) what techers can afford to sell for, early this is perhaps 3k, late set perhaps 1500

2) what people are willing to buy for, this has risen over time and varies on the server, in express you know competition will increase over time to sell, you can hold a lot of turns and its easy to do tech starts, currently people expect to buy tech at maybe 4k like previous sets but that should drop to 3k

3) supply vs demand, supply per country increased 30% so for overall supply to stay the same techers need to drop by ~26% (slightly less if a country changes to non techer in relative terms, or 26 in absolute if those countries no longer play)

simply because of the size of the server its not possible for 10 really good techers to all make t10 as easily as it was previously, it would now be 7.4 if that was possible before

it's ok - Slag just essentially confirmed that starstalker and lincoln have the same IP - the rest is simple inference....well, that and in conjunction with his sequential posts in another Express Talk thread.....

What's sad, however, is that whenever he gets back, he'll still be too arrogant to accept that everyone knows full well they're aliases and that he isn't fooling anyone.

I'm sure he'll have a new alias shortly after the IP ban expires.....unless the mods feel like trying to get folks back into this server, in which case I don't think anyone would complain if it remained permanent..

Pain - starstalker got a 24 hr ban; then lincoln posts and mods issue a IP ban which is normally used for folks evading forum nick bans.

Unfortunately, that's the closest you'll get to a technical affirmation, I suspect....but who really cares, was there really any questions in anyone's mind that they were all the same person?
