I hope I can get some pointers on LG best practices. I find it difficult to grow with just around 500~600 acres per LG set. I want to learn how to grow 20000ish acres at turn 900. Thanks!

20k at Turn 900...... you will be a prime target and probably wont hold that much land for long.

There has been some very inefficient grabbing going on this reset. I don't know how it compares to prev resets as I haven't really played express seriously for the last 6 weeks (as I've been overseas). Honestly - look for countries where DR's are minimal..... minimal hits in the previous 6-8 hours. I look for that and explored since the last grab.

I try to do 5 x PS every 2 hours so that it maximises grab returns. Even if it is a bad run I'll usually get at least 900a per 5 hits.

Yes, I'm using eestats as suggested by VicVixvi. Very useful indeed. My goal is to gain as much land (that I can keep) with least number of hits.

Land is awful this reset.

The worst part is that the rainbow then think grabbing humans is a good idea. Easy to retal, but it breaks your concentration.

Playing turns regularly and having defence doesn't help much either. I can attest. There is always a rainbow stupider than the last one...

20k acres by turn 900 is about standard with a techer. you should get there with turns saved and go on a teching spree of 200ish turns right around there...with the tax income and the tech NW you wont be fat after that even if you were mostly jets as you grabbed up to 20k.

This sounds like more SS than PS by turn 700, then 200ish-turn teching spree until turn 900. Is this right?

You can do it in a few different ways. I usually mainly PS up until about the point when I am about 8-11k acres if I'm not too lazy and risk overflow.

On the other hand, I tend to lose more than double the losses of the country I am attacking. I'm pretty sure there is an attack calculator somewhere to minimize the losses. Does anyone have a link to it so I can read on?

Attacker always loses 8% defender loses 2/3 of that if you break 8 if you fail is reduced by med tech and has chance for less and some dr reductions on ss/ps
