It's to afford some level of protection to those who have no interest in warring/suiciding from those who do. Prior to the GDI changes, the top 3-5 at the end of the set (say, 2 hrs prior to set end) regularly got suicided out of the top 10 altogether which was causing people to leave the server.

For some reason, people have a hard time picking fights with folks who are actually interested in fighting.

Completely takes away from the original WAR GAME.

Think of a world where the tree hugging mods fabricate a NETTING SERVER. Thus restoring the express to what it was meant to be..

I'm not saying make it a place where suicide is promoted or easy, but it has to be a more aggressive server than this.. Missiles and offensive spy ops should be allowed at any time, but no more than 1 missile or 5 ops vs someone who has only hit you once, or not at all. This 2 attacks fluff is nonsense.

What was wrong with what I suggested? If someone hits you hard and you don't have the military capability of retailing, I should be able to launch ONE single missile or 5 offensive ops against them, rather than having no possible retaliation. If they want to hit me back for the missle or spy ops, then that opens of gorrila, tanks, bombing runs, and unlimited missile/spy ops. seems fine to me.

With such a server and the opportunity for such drastic NW jumps in just a few hours, sometimes it is impossible to hit someone back with a regular military retail, but some of us still want our revenge.

Why not just hit non-GDI countries? I'd guess they're more apt to want a fight anyways?

Seems to me that the only argument against the current GDI set up is that you can't screw w/ whoever you want, regardless of if they want that type of set or not.

gambit's right - this is NOT a war game. War is one aspect of it yes, but there are several other aspects of it as well. Why is it that only the fighters in this game don't seem to comprehend this?

And before you talk about having kills or not having kills, go take a look at server stats for some of the folks posting on this forum. gambit will outkill any of you 2:1 on his worst days, same w/ mrford.

Only thing I hate more than netting though are cowards that can't net so they decide to suicide or blindside others for ahits and giggles.

The only reason you think pvp is better than pve is in pvp you get to hit first and have an advantage.

For the record, I've gone 3 express sets in a row without being attacked ONCE. I netgained like everyone else, and I'm not interested in suiciding on someone. People have completely ignored my suggest above and didn't even give it mention, and thus why I think most of you are wimpy netgainers who simply turret up and puss out the majority of the set. Deny it if you want, lol

If they are in GDI, they don't want to war. This is basic logic. The only reason I can think of why you didn't pick a fight with someone that did want a fght, aka someone not in GDI, is because you lack all skill and had to attempt to pick on someone with a netting build.

mine of you was you running harmful ops on me for no reason (I hadn't made a single grab all set and I only opped #45 30 times by refreshing my first 10, so a typo is out of the question. so your "only opped ppl that had opped me or hit my allies" is horsefluff). Telling your "bros" to "come in you" Didnt help your case much either. But all of this don't matter to me, I wasn't netting. However running around randomly fluffing with people is idiotic and uncalled for. It's the very reason GDI was strengthened. After what you did this set, pushing for gdi changes, you probably don't have much pull in that area. Suicider

I'm terribly sorry if I don't take you seriously after that.

And if im a pansy netter I'd like to see what a war mongerer is lol. I've been a HoW on alliance server for years.
