to many indies for express in my opinion. 200 usually will get you through plus keep what ever indies you get from grabbing up to 400. wont really need a high spal if your not planning on warring someone. definantly get more tech bus and res.

I reckon your BPT is fine for now. You desperately need bus/res tech though.

Keep growing, and try to purchase tech after every turn you build. Buying less tech, more often, is more efficient than buying in big batches as it has a chance to build on itself throughout your turns. The other thing to consider is maybe leveling out your ENT and RES buildings. People argue about ratios, but generally a 1:1 ratio of ENT:RES suits most people fine.

Oh and the other thing is bump your tax rate to 35%. The optimal tax rate is 35 or 36 depending on food prices.

The set is over now, but for future sets, some things to bear in mind...

55:45 ent:res ratio is slightly better than than 50:50 to slightly reduce the costs for food and to take into account the land used by ind and cs.

The following will only be of use after maxing out your bus/res techs.

My guess is that you make some landgrabs, owing to the presence of jets. They'd be pointless to have unless you were making landgrabs. I'd recommend slightly increasing your weapons tech to compensate for your government's weakness. If you're not making grabs, then why bother having jets?

Also, if you increase your spy tech you will reduce your costs on maintaining a high SPAL.
