I have about 10 extra varieties of cross bred pepper seeds from matspeppers.com.
I have already shared some of the seeds with KoH.
I am willing to send some out to anyone else that seriously does gardening.

Confusion has sprouted, the others are still lagging, i put 4 seeds in each cup to increase my chances of germination, my experience with hot varieties is that they are harder to germinate and takes longer, the hotter the variety, the longer it takes for whatever reason.

My wife and I love to garden but haven't in the past few years since we bought our house. Previously we had a second story apartment with a 6x8ft balcony covered in veggie plants. I just spent an entire sunday cutting down thorny wineberry canes and I'll have to make time to set up some raised beds and deer netting before I can actually plant anything. I live in a clearing the woods and we get 2-3 dozen deer walking through daily.

Nay nay, moved to soil, hydroponic system is still under construction, i have a shed I'm converting to hydroponic room but it's all on standby now because I got hurt, can barely get out of bed and day to day activities are really hard, lower back is fluffed and left shoulder blade is fluffed too, all i can do is baby it and time will heal, it's a slow painful process since i refuse to take meds, i value my internal organs more than not having pain, it is what it is....

Appreciate the offer. I have some ghost, jalapeño, and bell peppers doing great in a self wicking raised bed. I think you were the one that sent me the idea of it.

I have it close to the house and my down spout from my roof has a hose connected to it, trapping some of the rainwater and forcing it into the raised bed.

Those ghost peppers are mean.

I'm actually not! Although we had a cold snap when I first tried and my room dipped into the 60s, maybe the temp dropped too low? They didn't grow as fast as they should have, and they were pretty punny by the time I was ready to harvest.

I have more seeds and stuff so I'll try again. Attempt #1 was on a water-absorbing mat that was supposed to keep them watered for me as well.

I used a tray with coconut husk, 60° to 70° is the ideal range, maybe seeds too old

Yeah I had them in dark for 3 days then light for says after. Maybe bad seeds I'll go with that :p

We got hit with a nasty heat wave here in the Pacific Northwest this past weekend, plants are hella confused, i saw tomato plants at the store with flowers already, those are as good as dead if they let them fruit, no way those tiny plants will be able to hold fruit, I have 5 grapevines all different varieties and they all have fruit stems forming, in 23 years of living in Oregon I never seen grapevines fruit in mid May....

I'll send you another weekly progress pic in a while galleri, I'm about to transplant my jalapeños and Cayenne to big tubs, i was going to go ground but i want to avoid pests :-)

The seeds you sent me are doing well, they're drinking hydroponic nutrients now.
