i walked across the Ben Franklin during a thunderstorm today.
not sure if it's anything spectacular, they usually close it if it's dangerous to cross, but i have been kicked off of that bridge before, so maybe they just didn't close it fast enough.

i was in a water spout once while I was in a kayak on a river...

it came from nowhere, out of the water, and then someone yelled "the hurricane's gonna get dave!" and I said "no, it's a water----" and then it hit my kayak and spun me around and blew my hat off and blew it like 20 feet upstream...

i had to paddle up and get it
it was awesome.

i guess my life is fairly uneventful.. i've missed all the tornadoes & hurricanes & whatnot

- hurricane
- 120mph wind (not from baked beans ;P )
- tornado ( as well as mountain whirling eddies )
- bomb
- plasma field discharge
- at sea in the atlantic (100mph+) does that count ?

I was sitting in a car last night during a tornado warning...and in a stage with just a roof over it the night before that, in another warning...damn hippies, they always plan the worst weekends for festivals.

The earthquake was pretty cool.. I work in the victoria park and steeles area (for those in the GTA area) and we all were like wtf when we saw all the computer monitors dancing. It took a few seconds for us to realize wtf was going on hahaha.

The propane tank explosion was also pretty cool. I was coming back from a club in brampton driving on the 401 when I saw this big fireball.. I had to get off the 401 as police closed it off.
