i never even heard of the application to yours. and i'm more active on the boards here than the vast majority of NA. (i see your post now, now that i had to look for it)

if activity on public forums (mostly idiot trolls) makes for "good, unbiased" voters.... your method was inherently rather fail

Do you know who the voters are? I don't really think many (any?) of them would be known for trolling.

That thread was topped multiple times. I really don't think there was anything unfair about it. Any bias is inherent to inactivity on the parts of the unrepresented.
