Yeah, but our policy doesn't escalate until there are a total of more than 6 landgrabs (retals don't count towards this total) on the tag by the same alliance within 48 hours, and it usually doesn't get that high.

Choosing country:country land:land or escalating retals is especially important for RoRs, so there's a deterrent.

Normal landgrabbing is fine in moderation -- almost everyone in our alliance can retal their own retals.

We don't really enforce the escalation anyways -- normally, everyone just does a single retal (because that's all it takes to get your land back).

But in the case of a RoR, we have to have some form of deterrent, which is why we'll typically enforce escalating retals on such hits.

2:1 is a decent enough deterrent for RoRing. No need to overkill, and since our retal window is only 48 hours, it will be difficult to coordinate 3 hits within 48 hours.

We go pact lite, so we got a lot of other retals to take.

All retals are to be taken within 48 hours, whether it is country:country land:land, 2:1, whatever, unless an extension is given by their FAs.
