It's actually 3.33 days. The topic title is too short. Non-restarts now start with more turns if they're created late. Restarts still start with the usual amount of turns.

actually, they would get more turns, if they created a country 3.33 Days late, logged in, logged out, waited 18 hours, logged in, got the bonus, used them on turns. and knew how to run a country :P

My girlfriend actually has the same problem with "up to" and "at least".



So lets think about it this way... you have three snails, one is named Detmer, one is named Shammy and the third is named Patty. Another snail named Balin joins the terrarium so there are four snails (four is more than three). Since Balin steals pizza the other snails cannibalize him and only leave his shell (.33 of his body). There are still the three original snails plus a little bit of Balin left, so there is more than the three original snails.

Ergo 3.33 is more than 3.

Ok, so now that we are analyzing the number of characters we are comparing "up to 3" with "up to 3.33"

If we remove all the words, since words are gross (unlike snails), we are left with "3" and 3.33". 3 is just a single character, as in if you had a lonely snail named Detmer. "3.33" is four characters, as if you had the aforementioned terrarium party. Since we know that four is more than one we know that "3.33" is longer than "3" since you can not have a party with just "3".

Your logic is faulty. 'Up to 3.33' was never part of my proposed modification to the original thread title. I proposed '3.33', which is clearly shorter than 'up to 3.33'.
