I play another browser based strategy game. It's called Ogame. No resets though. Just new servers opening up from time to time.

I happen to agree that this is alliance server, you should be in an alliance if you don't want to be farmed. However, if those of you who are complaining about untaggs being farmed want it to stop, why don't you try to recruit them into your alliance? If they are new players maybe they'll join. If they are experienced players who are running farm countries just for the hell of it they'll probably let know.

For me it was a really easy way to keep up with when my 12 or 18 hrs was up ... for one ... for two, I could use it for hunting purposes, if necessary.

If I'm understanding your post, you would ask us to change the way the game is played so that you have a chance to "win" in a different way.
So what you are really saying is "I can't compete with the rules as they stand so .... let's change the rules so I have a chance to win".

This game has always been about "He who finishes with the most wins." Plain, simple ... easy to understand.

I'll tell you now I only finished top 10 in 1 category. To me it's the one that really counts ... total NW at the end of the set. If I were warring I would be looking at most attacks, most missiles, most special attacks .... whatever I was doing and I'd be measuring myself against my opponent/s.

I've tried not to say anything about this since it is mostly directed at LaE, but this is getting ridiculous. I'm not in LaE .... I've finished top 10 more often than not, and I don't even run what would be considered a "netter" country. Maybe ... just maybe ... LaE players "dominate" this server because ..... wait for it ....... wait... they are good players and there are several of them.

Yeah MorTcuS helped MrCobalt too .... I think I would have had more than 15.3m NW if I hadn't caught 2 of his nukes & 3 of his chems .... I should have waited 'till the last minute to take those last 150 turns . ROFLOL

Props to who came up with that. That way if you are like me and just late starting you still don't loose turns and can still catch up in a day or so if your goods hit the market fast enough.

Just created my country. Expected to have 360 turns waiting on me .... well, I do but ... 310 are in storage.
I guess that will help stop people doing restarts just to kill someone. I guess if you can't come Oop with a restart that's no longer a problem. :)

You can check @ http://eestats.com/express/oldranks/91 but i think you'll have to look through everyone's stats to figure out "who got the top land grabbing this set". There may be somewhere else you could find it but I'm not sure.

Even with tech @ ridiculously low prices I cant afford to buy any. As a CI I should be at at least 150% on indy tech ... I'm not even close because it takes all I make on sales to buy food & take turns.

Allies are allies. I never ask who you play with on another server. I do sometimes know which alliance they play in on other servers. Whether or not we are in the same alliance or different alliances on another server it makes no difference here ... except maybe I might skip someone I know when looking for a target.

Could have been. I do have self induced memory loss from time to time.

Well first off I'd like to thank everyone who responded. It's nice to know that I have choices.

I think I'm going to go with LCN. There is probably no one there who would remember me from way back then but .... they are the ones who taught me to play .... and they seem to be welcoming me back.

I may have put an LCN after my name back then ... but I have used Trippster as my handle ever since I first went online.

crazyserb, yes I enjoy having a high NW finish but sometimes warring can be just a fun. I know I'll never forget the thrill of my first kill. When it comes time to fight, well ... ya just gotta have fun with it. So don't count me out just because you're a war alliance.

Old Earther looking for an alliance he can call home.

I haven't played in any alliance server since around 2003. Started playing primary in late '99. I played the best rainbow in primary at the time. (OK maybe thats just my opinion) Got recruited by some lame "clan" and started playing alliance. In the first set someone from this lame alliance ticked off someone in LCN. They kicked our arses good and basically wiped out our alliance. But they took pity on me because I was one of the few who not only fought back but actually survived a couple of kill runs. ... got lucky . They put me in an alliance called ETU (Earth Training University) A joint effort by LCN, Mudders and I think a couple of others. There I learned how to play the different strategies. Got moved into LCN and played with them for a couple of years. Took about a year away from Earth. Came back and started playing Tourney. Got recruited by the Elites (a mostly Malaysian Alliance then) and played with them for a year or so. Took another break from Earth for a few years. Came back & played Tourney for the last 3 years. Been playing express here at Empires. Now I'm thinking of joining an alliance again.
Way back when I did play alliance I usually finished in the top 5% of the server. (unless we had a war) In tourney I usually finished in the top 25 (unless I got suicided on). Had 1 top 5 finish and became "immortalized" in the champions list. (the last set of tourney @ Omac ) Here, in express I've had 9 top 10 finishes out of 14 sets played . (haven't won .... yet)
If you'd like to have this old Earther in your alliance please tell me why your alliance is the place for me.

That's ok, you make yourself lots of tech this set. When I set my gov there were only 6 commies. Now there are like 30 or so. Not a great set to be running a CI.

A few more countries would surely help.
How many countries would it take to make a reasonable market?
Could/should all of the lvls share one market?
How many lvls would we need to make a decent tourney?
I say we need at least an A lvl and a B,C lvl ... @ 200 countries that's still only 66 per game.

Yep techers were selling cheap .... helped me out though .... I got lucky & bought around 50k @ $1000 mid set. ;P
Caught a few nukes & some ABs in the last hr but still had a good finish ... considering.
