I haven't played in the tourney in years....

BUt i guarantee one thing about when I did.
If anyone attacked me...they didn't stand a chance of moving up the tourney ladder and often went down it.

That being said,
some of my best recruits came from the tourney:)

Some of my funnest experiences were taking out as many of the top 10 as I could in a low rung of the tourney.

but that was years and years and years ago probabluy almost 10 now

There was a time that one could argue that LAF as "soft"
but due to netting and grabbing skills they still fought above average.

But when Ronnie led LAF that started to change. And LAF began to toughen up some.

I'm talking early earth history. And yes LAF did have that reputation,
but Wanger is right, this is no longer the case and hasn't been for a number of years (except for maybe the occasional off reset?) But I haven't been around enough to know that part for sure.

Now, LAF's a beast

This is what I thought when LCN farmed Imag.

Imag, lives to die. Imag doesn't live to netgain.
Imag doesn't live to survive a war.

The badge of honor is dieing during the reset,
the worst possible thing that can happen to Imag for a reset to be be someones land farms.

Its like pergatory...you're not dieing, but you're being farmed 10-15-20 times everyday like a farmtag or untagged everyday.

It also seems, that when things didn't continue that way LCN handled themselves rather well also.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the larger netting clans start using this type of war tatic against less skilled alliances in the future as a way to get land and put countries in the top 10.
LCN whether for good or bad remains to be seen created a blueprint.

And still handled things when it got shifted.

Fundamentalism is the breeding ground of terror for any religion/belief system. (Atheism is a belief system about a lack of belief lol.)

Normally it takes a conservative form, though on occasion portions of it do surface in liberal circles, (the occasional Peta group comes to mind. Atheists would fall into thsi circle also.)

I'd encourage smaller random games, rather than one large primary game at first.

no more than 1k players per game

That way instead of a person finishing 120th out of 10K
they finished 12th out of 1k

they will feel more successful.

When this comes out on facebook
I will play in such a game,
and I will work with newer players.

That is something each of us vets need to do.
And we need to be mindful NOT to farm prospective players out of the game.
but instead spy on them
grab them once
tell them how long we've played and offer our help.

Klown,

I got a friend who was Infantry in the US Military,
he developed Spinal issues and military doctors botched up the metal rod they inserted along his spine.

he's in constant pain.
The strongest anti pain drugs don't take away all the pain.

Pot does.

I had another friend with cancer. Couldn't keep food down during Chemo.
But could after smoking some Pot.

So when someone says they require it, to function IE eat....
I wonder if there's a medical reason for taht before I assume addictive issues....

Simply solution to many problems.

Legalize all drugs.
Let companies grow them, and add a nice tax to support rehab clinics. and fund Obama's healthcare intiative.

This will eliminate drug cartels, who need drugs to be illegal to exist.
this will eliminate the main revenue stream of most gangs
This will lower violence based on turf wars

And it creates an additional tax revenue.

And it clears people out of our prisons for traffiking. Lowering goverment costs, and we can put the 40K a year into houseing each person into retraining and helping be productive.

Sounds good in theory:)
