Ford is right., there's technically not a max., it just appears that way because the decay amount becomes equal to the replenished amount per turn.

As celphi suggests the equilibrium units are 66.667 (66 and 2/3rds) turns worth of 1 turn of max replenishment. the units actually fluctuate if you dont touch your private market and Im not sure they ever reach the equilibrium point even if you keep a stable acreage.

So they replenish 3, 2.5, 2.5 and 1 unit per turn tick respectively, and that means you can have about 200 troops per acre, 2.5*66.667 turrets and jets per acre and 66.67 tanks per acre in your private market.

There is no max as long as you dont log in. Units left on the PM every logout decay every turn. Once you log in the decay starts on accumulated PM units. When destocking buy all PM units every login.

That's how I always saw it.

The reason you do a 40 hour logout on alliance and team before destocking is because that is how long it takes to get full on turns from 0. So when you log in you can batch turns, convert, and have a massive PM for initial buyout.
