It's used in so many different ways and contexts around here. What does it mean? Fu$^? Sh%*? Sorry, I'm old, but I get the "no fowl language" around here.

fluff is basically any bad word. it was mARTIAN's idea that with swear filter on (not that it can be turned off or on anymore) bad words are shown as fluff.

fluff itself doesn't mean anything besides in illegal alien's head.

yes and if you use actual word like fluff or fluff it should show up as fluff to those who have swear filter on (aka every1 who registered after last forum revamp or had it on at that time).

I don't know why we still have a filter on by default lol

I think it started as a joke for some of the word filtering and we made it a default which can be turned off in the profile.

But for search engines/anyone who isn't logged in/default settings, people will think we're super tame on the forums
