He then proceeded to make the following attacks, attacks which should never have been able to happen.

It seems like two restarts were accidentally created upon the death of the original. Once the one restart (482) died again, instead of getting a new country he restarted with that previously created second country (483).

Not necessarily saying he did this intentionally, but this seems like an obvious glitch that he's taking advantage of . which is very unfortunate for us who he's attacking as his new restart should be less than half the size and very little land (482 dropped to 4k acres while walling).

We've reported 483 in game as well.

happened to me on FFA I had 30 countries available to me at one points i had to delete the duplicates. happened when was restarting page double loaded during a game tick.

Just lost another 1.5m population to this fluff that shouldn't exist, nice.

Yeah. Kind of a weird thing. Lots of people were talking about this as it happened. We all saw that his restart page double loaded and there was two countries that looked the same at the same nw with the same name. Weezy played the restart he was given.

When he died this last time, he logged in to earth expecting to restart and the identical country would just stay there. However, the game did not send him to the restart page but rather the main menu of the 2nd country.

He was not only surprised about it, but he contacted more than just me when he spoke about it. He contacted Prime, qz and about a half dozen other mods to fix the glitch, as I'm sure they can attest.

That said, can't blame the guy for playing the country the game gave him in the mean time. Weezy may be a lot of things, but he's no cheater. He went a step further than maybe I would have by contacting the game mods about it.

Could still see it getting purpled tho. Its only fair. But a mod will have to do that...

Double restarts have been around for awhile and the game admins haven't made any attempts to get rid of them or delete existing ones that I know of. Also, alliance mods are very, very slow to respond to things these days.

that's cause littleitaly mods alliance (i think, if not li or elves then nobody) and he's been away since early set and illegal alien aka mARTIAN hasn't been sighted since months.

Bug has been around for many sets across all servers.

Since there is no "Control Panel" on Alliance like there is on FFA I assume that when this happens a player would only know of the duplicate restart after the death of the first country/restart.

There is also a "bug"/oversight that allows countries that were deleted to still get the restart bonus afforded to destroyed countries. Given that knowledge, it would probably be best to purple the duplicate country/restart in this case since he would still get that bonus as if he were killed.

no.. the duplicate is still alive. The inaction on this just further discourages a lot of our willingness to keep playing this dying game :/

He's continuing to exploit it and doing harmful spyops and missiling our netting countries late in the game. It's hard enough to get a small tag of lazy netters together to get a kill on someone who's online 24/7, let alone having to kill that same country twice.

Well elders are too weak to clean up their own fluff which isnt really suprising
