Congrats to the winner and everyone else. I thought it was a race between MountainYeti and beerdrinker until the commie made the jump. Nice job to all three of you and a nice gap between net and acres. I wish I could get more net out of my land, but my net seems to always be in millions what my land is in thousands, or very close, regardless of what strategy I play. Admittedly, I do not know how to play techer and, therefore, played it to get some experience.

One note to self: When hastily going top to bottom down the PM spending money in closing minutes, don't buy food. :0

ohhh I hate when accidentally buying food on PM... I've done that a few times over the years. Ouch.

and I hear ya Hammer, I can't ever seem to get over the hump. I had my best finish ever this set (NW wise) but was still outplayed by beerdrinker and Mountain with similar strats.

It was a really fun set. I think I was just telling Hammer or Kingme I would like to try a Demo techer next set, when Yeti did his huge jump. Lol

I was worried that the 3 turn attacks would make getting land early a real problem. Yeti has definitely figured it out. I was sure the indy would win (extremely well played), but I was really surprised when that small Demo flew past everyone in the top ten.

I messaged him in game in disbelief... I still have no idea how that's done.

Yeti can get it done. So far, this set's market prices is not being kind to commies, so expecting to see some demos.
