I got tired of calculating how much oil / food to buy during destock, so I decided to write a script in PHP.

Please inform me if you spot any bugs. I cannot stress the word 'BETA'. I'll update the graphics and make it cellphone usable with more functions if people like it.

LOL why the limits >.> and also 500 bil is easy to break on FFA. I destocked with a total of 590b last set.

Also should point out you need to add in a current stock count for food/oil so you know to buy or sell.

you need to add a field other than just cash, how much food/oil/cash you have then compare with the end result so you know if you need to either sell food or oil or buy food or oil.

what i would say is this - if this was made from your knowledge celph, and you found thresholds, i suppose it's up to you to share. but if this is from enshula's math on proper oil/bushel ratio and then just put into a program ... this probably should not leave laf and give others access to math they need to figure out on their own

It's my own work.

My program doesn't use ratios. It uses exact math. All my math is computed by the the computer. The formulas are all provided on EE Wiki.

Found on Purchase tab:
Oil conversion -> Troops -> Jets -> Turrets -> Tanks
40 -> 30 -> 25 -> 25 -> 10

With these two things of information it's not hard to make a formula. It took me about 20mins.

Honestly... the calcs are the most interesting part of the game.. Aside from the "politics" and watching people react to ford and braden's posts.

If not for them, it's just plugging in numbers over and over. Not really fun. Earth isn't meant to become a giant whimsical calculator, but that's just my opinion. If there's something doing it for you, then there isn't anything separating skill from nub. It will only be whether or not you have other things demanding your time.

All I see is "Under Construction". Was going to throw in some numbers and see if spotted any differences between this and what I have on my spread.

Not sure what Vic is on about either. Didnt take me that long to set up calcs either from what I recall. Ratio isnt much harder.

I am and have never been top tier tree hugger, however if I put in honest effort should be able to just maybe sneak in top ten or at least get close.
