they do appear to be exceptionally expensive for the 18" alloys Blade :/
18" A Type Alloy Wheels (235/45R18) US$700+ you should be able to get Nexen or similar for a bit less

a supercheap $500 for Pirelli PZero for me (225/40Y18)

your first mistake was buying a kia.

your 2nd mistake was low profile tires.

i usually buy my tires online and take them in to get mounted. Or sometimes i go to sams club or Costco because of their warranties. I have never paid more than 150 a tire though. hell, i didnt pay that much total for tires for my drag car! why are you buying tires like that for an econobox. you got hosed. you dont need Z rated tires for that thing. did you just say "put tires on it"

Yeah i didn't think on the tires when I got the car. But it was a good deal on buying it and it's served us well these past 5 years.
I've bought Chevys,Buicks and Pontiacs and all were expensive to upkeep.
Have a Ford van here that I just jumped with the Kia .
Seems I do that every winter and the Ford has a new battery. But it's company owned so I don't care to take it in for checking anything else. That one I'll drive to 250k and get another.
Never had a bit of trouble with the Kia and my wife loves it. I'd buy another.
I don't get how low profiles can cost so much more than regular tires. THERES LESS TOTHEM!

Well I went cheap on the last set. Got them for about 650. Almost 25k on them and they went to crap.
These are supposed to be good for 70k. Should be the last set on this car

Don't buy nexen or kuhmo the tires suck. I went to Firestone for my wife's optima sx paid about $650 for tires that are rated for 70k. So far helluva lot better ride than the nexen/kumhos ever were and seem to wearing nicely after 9k miles

Naw I really don't. Besides there's no rear seat that is usable,I don't think my knees can handle getting in and out of those anymore.
I drove my brothers a few years back and it felt like my arse was on the ground.
They're cool cars for young single guys but not for old married like me 😝

Wow thats highway robbery. I like the idea of buying them online though Ford. I would worry about the condition of the purchase not seeing them though.

My son's father works for a tire shop, so I always just use his discount :D
