Southie is a location (South Boston, not necessarily South Shore) more than a group of people, but im neither... I live ~45 minutes west of Boston.. closer to Worcester (Woo-sta)

haha elves "a southie" isn't a thing, but I have a great friend *from* "southie", and yes, he speaks with an absurdly thick "boston accent". but in back bay or beacon hill or south end you won't hear it really much other than the construction workers. but you will also hear it in charlestown, quincy, watertown, dorchester and other historically working class neighborhoods
