you are doing something wrong.

you share forum, alliance x leaders add it and give perms to view, post and edit.

I shared 1 forum between Hells Saints and Elysium and I see it in Elysium under forum manager ready to be added.

Marshal is essentially correct -- The Alliance that makes it will see it in the normal forum list. The alliance it's shared to will see it in the "Shared forums" group.

at least I think that's how it works. I haven't looked at that code in years. I haven't even set up a forum since like 2011, tbh :p

no shared forum group, it shows up in forum manager same way as non-shared forums.

forum can be added to any group if wanted (its not necessity).

seriously you and laf are doing something wrong, sharing forum is very simple, just select forum to be shared and share it with other alliance(s) and tell them to add it and give perms.

although knowing how difficult it was to get laffers to see mafia-board i'm not that surprised.

i suggest you restart on step 1

it sounds like you both made the same forum, id suggest both making different forums sharing with eachother then add eachothers

that way you both try doing it both ways

I already created a new one and shared it with LaFamiglia EC. So unless they're actually using the 1a site, this should work but it's not.

share it with both laf-bcs.

1a should be alliance but for example rogue is set as alliance in alliance command but is listed as ec on sharing-list.

1 thing you can try is to give laf leader forum's url (http://www.boxcarhosting.com/...owforum.php?boardID=xxxx) you have shared and they could try to add it.

There's a couple of shared forums sitting there waiting to have perms added. I fixed one and gave it the menu item "LaF/PDM Grabbing Formula Abuse Forum" under Forums -> Other Forums. MM+

I apparently still have head access.
