Worst play call I have ever witnessed. Pete Carroll is a dumbass and I feel bad for his players.

There was no choke, just a terrible play call and a good play by a young player.

Agreed, they probably should have ran it in, however, that interception wasn't a guarantee on that play. That one defender happened to be in the right place at the right time, causing the failed play call.

Also, even if the call was bad, the QB didn't have to throw an interception. He could have held the ball, thrown it sooner, thrown it where it wouldn't get intercepted, thrown it to a different receiver. Every play has at least two options, and the QB could have changed the play to a run if he saw the defense wasn't going to be able to stop it.

dude, the field is really crowded when it is only 12 yards long. statistically you run the ball. all your reasoning and excuses do not change that. they had time for multiple plays, yet they didnt even attempt the high probability play.

throwing was stupid. it is that simple. Pete Carroll is at fault, and he even admitted it. that was a designed pick play, so i doubt there was a checkdown homie. it was a good play by a young DB.

To be fair that was the first pick in over 100 pass attempts from the 1 yard line this year. Also the Seahawks wanted to throw on 2nd down so they would have a timeout with 3rd and 4th down remaining, so if you run on 2nd down and get stuffed (it's not a guarantee Lynch gets in) you pretty much have to throw on 3rd and 4th down. I still would have liked to see that happen but thems the breaks. I mean that was a crazy play by that CB. Broke perfectly on the ball, had perfect timing and still somehow caught the ball. The Pats did what the Hawks did against Green Bay, played harder longer.
