Special attacks- Include but are not limited to: GS / BR / AB / missile attacks / spy attacks


Works like this:

Scenario 1:
Non-GDI vs Non-GDI

Rule: No rules. All types of attacks are allowable.

Scenario 2, 3 & 4:
Non-GDI vs GDI or
GDI vs Non-GDI or
GDI vs GDI (All 3 are treated the same) -

Rule:
SS / PS / Bomb banks / Spy Market / Spy / Spy Military / Burn Oil are the only types of 'attacks' allowable;

Exception:
If a country attacks another country a total of two times during a single set, then the country who made the two attacks is no longer protected from special attacks.

Added explanation to joining GDI on EXPRESS:

Once you make one attack, you may NOT join GDI. You must join GDI prior to attacking.

At first I thought the bioT came from predator...upon further investigation he had 30% of the spies I did ; his success rate seemed unlikely. Maybe the perp used Predator as bait. So, I just assumed it was United Empire trying to double the blow. All the missiles and BioT really jacked me up. I retaled pretty heavily then extended a truce offer. Now gimme my bonus, EARTH. btw, was anyone else playing when this game was on games.swirve.com/earth ? Used to be called Earth 2025. Can't see much of a difference.

The Predator guy hit me with a random bunch of bioterorrism spy ops as well. And then killed his country off. Presumably he is a fair minded guy and likes to share his favours out. You were just unlucky that it coincided with the missiles.

Not sure why you think it odd for the guy you hit to hit back with what he had to hit with. Anyway good luck in your duel.

Lol nac1772, this game was cloned from e2025 after they shut the servers down. Almost everyone here used to play that game :)

By DR I take it you mean diminishing returns.

It is a bit mysterious. In the same run of turns #118 did the same thing with another country. S/he reduced that target to 20 acres (or maybe 200) and then immediately switched his/her attentions to #52. The other target then grew to 7k acres and to rank 7. There is a short discussion in the thread Soon to be retal targets.

#52 has not yet taken turns and sits quiescent at networth 154,000. #118 similarly sits doing nothing for now except accumulating turns.

BiBiGoN (#52) is one of the few players who refuses to join GDI and yet makes top 15 regularly. It would be my guess he's saving turns to get a kill. I've never seen him play Tyranny before as he's almost always Republic.

As for DR abuse- well it's possible but eventually the DR will wear off and everyone he LG'd will be able to retal him for mega acres.

S/he went on to kill #52 (who came back to hit #118 with a re-start).

There does not seem to be any diminishing returns abuse.

Good call. He doesn't need an alliance to go to war he's perfectly capable of killing anyone he wants on his own. My first set back in June I saw him get 3-4 kills and knew I was never going to touch him. He killed my buddy 3 sets back and I laughed
