Anyone seen polls for NFL team popularity in Canada? I tried finding one and couldn't. Was curious if my anecdotal evidence of the Packers being the most popular for years here is true nationwide.

Packers, Bills, Seahawks and Cowboys would be my guess.

Cowboys are America's team. Canada can't have them. You can have the Bills.

I don't think the Bills have too many fans outside of Toronto and area:P

But yah.. my guess would be those 4 also fuji. Although I have heard of the Vikings a fair bit too. I think they used to have a couple of Canadians or somesuch.

a quick Google searhc returned a thread that said bills are #1 (18%), Seahawks are 2nd with 14%, Packers and Patriots are at about 12%, Cowboys at 10%

The thread was 2007, but that breakdown makes sense to me -- the teams near the border that are really good (packers+patriots) + close to major cities (bills+seahawks) + the most storied franchises (packers+cowboys)

I've love for the Bills to move to Toronto. I'd absolutely cheer for them to finish 2nd in the AFC East every year :p

lol... Hmm I didn't think that many people cheered for the Bills. Damn Ontario always making the west insignificant..

well, i only really know a handful of bills fans -- most folks, myself included, have another team that's there team, but we consider the Bills our local team. i like to see them win, but if it negatively impacts the patriots, the bills must lose.

good thing that the Bills are still terrible, despite spending all that money on "improving" their defense

I saw that too. I laughed that Vancouver wasn't even asked -_- Got to love being west coast sometimes. Go Packers! :D

I think we know who would be #1 if Vancouver were included. I know that the Canucks are the most popular NHL team in Seattle and I think those feelings are pretty reciprocal.

Yah. GB would probably be 2nd or 3rd here. It is just silly they ignore the big city in BC.

I feel like GB is pretty popular everywhere - they were my number two team long before I moved to Wisconsin. I feel like they have a sort of Canadian vibe...
