my account pw and my forum pw are different -- and randomly I'm still logged in on my game stuff but not forums and I hve to log out of my account then login my main portal again

you should be able to just login to the forums

you may need to clear cookies though

Keeps saying bad pass -- but I can logout (from account) and it will let me login. Is cookies why? Also, anyway you can change my account email? That email is obsolete.

hm so maybe you don't have the password for the forum account? Also you're logging in at the forum login not at the game login, right? (i hope to replace this system in the *near* future btw)

atm you can't change account emails, though you can PM me in the forum here and i'll try to remember to do it after work some time

Like I said, I can login to forums (sometimes) but not all the time. I don't know why. If I log out of EVERYTHING then I can log into forums np. My main account and forum account are different (as I was one testing for DM).

yea; but you've since linked them; when you login to the game it also issues a forum cookie now; those can *sometimes* cause problems for each other, apparently, not sure why....

anyway, in the near future we're going to change to just http://earthempires.com/forums rather than forums. but that requires a code merger waiting on some major back-end changes i'm currently in the middle of (actually in the middle i think heh)

All i know, is if you are on forums.earthempires.com, you can only login to your forum account and not portal account from there.

Anywhere else, your portal account is needed to log in, and then you dont need to login to your forum account.
