I'll start you off with a side for your sandwich.

Ingredients

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
2 cans (14 1/2-ounces) English peas, drained

Directions

Melt the butter in small pot and add the peas. Cook over medium heat until peas are warm.

Advice offered by anyone could impose certain liability issues whether they're a chef or not. Please, go and see a real chef and refrain from asking for forum culinary science.

ngredients

3 pounds ground beef
1 cup chopped yellow onion
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 (12 ounce) bottle tomato-based chili sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard (optional)

Directions

Crumble the ground beef into a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring frequently until evenly browned. Drain off grease. Add the onion and celery, and cook until the onion is tender, about 3 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium and pour in the chili sauce. Stir in the vinegar and sugar. Add mustard if using. Simmer until the mixture is your desired thickness. Serve on buns.

it's not so much to get rid of the grease, ge. most of those ingredients aren't oil-soluble. makes it hard to mix it properly. :P

Cook 1 box Mac n' cheese (Kraft Dinner for Canadians). I like to make it 'oldschool'.. only use real butter and only a fraction of what it calls for in milk (the thicker the better)... Apply liberally between 2 pieces of toast and dress with sriracha hot sauce. the whole box won't fit between 2 pieces of bread, so make 2+ sandwiches and/or keep leftovers (see below).

Yum!

Leftovers: before it cools completely, lay out about 1/2 inch thick layer to a plate or other flat glass/plastic container. Put it in the fridge for an hour or 2.. Once it cools it should be a solid macaroni 'loaf', cut with a cookie cutter (or rim of a small glass), dip in flour, egg wash and then bread crumbs.. deep fry @ 350 for the best deep fried macaroni bites in the world.

oil and vinegar
italian seasoning

make sammich and leave open faced with cheese and peppers on top, put in oven on broil for like 30 seconds to a minute, until sammich is hot and cheese melted.

Here is a little secret that you will thank me forever.

The key to making perfect bacon is......

To BAKE it in the oven.

Put it on 425 degrees for 6 minutes, then turn it 180 degrees then let it go for another 4 or so. You won't go wrong!

Bison burger:

1lb bison meat
3 strips organic turkey bacon
Garlic, worcestershire sauce, tabasco to taste
Bread crumbs to counter the liquid added above

Turn it all in a bowl, make 1/4-lb patties, bake to medium-rare (no more). Serve with horseradish sauce to kick it up.
