How many of us were these kids?
I remember having one when they first came out.
Remember my mom telling us to treat it well because it was so damn expensive.

I think its great i still get joy out of playing alot of these games and i still have the unit. Though it takes a few hours of blowing the system and cartridge to get them going. I also got a DSI XL a ways back and threw emulators on it so i have these games on the road.

I spent so much time with a nintendo, ill be happy to never play any of those games again. Though I loved it at the time. It was like magic after a childhood of atari!

I still play my nintendo lol. Ive got 3 of them, ive got FF1, Zelda, Link and a fluff load of other wicked old school games.

I personally hated Mario 2. fluffing stupid throwing turnips lol

But ya I still own Dr.Mario

I love how at the end Barbara Walters there asks if its to violent lol God if they only had some kind of foresight lol

I still have the Nintendo I got when I was 6 (year they came out). I was that screaming kid in the video when they tear open the Super Nintendo (?) on Christmas....

The games are hokey, graphics suck, sound is horrible....but for some reason, I still love the damned thing. I've never kept any other console for more than about 3 years, but I will never let go of my Nintendo.
