i'm being killed in tournament server, have absorbed a couple hundred AB's and then enough GS/chems to be down to 500 pop...

not sure what i did to the people hitting me, and no idea how to check if i ever even hit them

Earthempires admins removed the external feed for tournament a while back. It is unfortunate that the ingame news search only goes back so far, and your own attacks are not stored in your newsfeed.

what is so wrong with a news feed?

some used it to search lg tgts and not all knew that so those who used it got advantage over those who didn't.

ingame news had time limit even on mehul's game.

If we had our attacks stored that would be probably better... defenders get to keep them, so maybe we should too...

For Example, I could LG a mofo in certain alliance and he could claim I had stolen 300M bushels in stock and demand Reps, and I wouldn't have NO way of knowing if that number is true :P

i still think that third party sites should still be able to see solo server news.

i mean, if i really wanted to store solo server news, i could just have a bot sit in #tourney|#primary on irc.earthempires.com and harvest all the news posted there into a database. seeing as that isn't very hard, and the news comes in 'real time' why not allow the api users to use it?

i can almost understand why admins removed the access to auto-upload spyops/advisor/etc to third party sites. as people running third party sites could then allow users to 'share' ops with friends etc.. but people can already do that on forums, statu stidy, etc.

just saying that blocking these things is like fighting a losing battle.
