As a Rams fan I don't want us to get Fairley. I don't want his personality on our team. Prince Akumara (sp?) would be great for us.

1983 Draft had 4 taken in the top 15 and the 1999 Draft had 5 in the top 12 including the top 3 picks.

I thought Detroit would take Prince Akumara, instead they took Fairly... I Wouldnt be suprised if the Rams took Jonathan Baldwin (WR) over Price Akumara though

I'm a Cowboys fan and I'm not sold on Smith, I had prefer us to trade down and get Constanzo or just drafted Akumura.

hmm Robert Quinn he's a solid guy, but who knows how he will play with the year off.

He is a gamble pick for sure. Your not going to know what your going to get from him until OTA's start.


Miami may go with Prince Akumura. Either that or maybe Mark Ingram. The draft has been pretty suprising so far, so nothing is out of the question. Maybe another QB lol

Nope they went for Pouncey, question who is he going to block when they have nobody who can play in the backfield.

Miami paired Pouncey with Jake Long. Thats a nice pair to build an offensive line around.

There is still alot of elite prospects still on the board. I am getting excited now for Seattles pick at 25. I didn't think any of them would slide this far down in the draft.

That was a REALLY high cost, even higher than what the Cowboys gave up for Roy Williams.

Yes, but their 1st round pick this year is near the very end of the 1st round, and they have a reasonable expectation that next year's 1st round pick will also not be in the top 25. Two 1st round picks that aren't in the top 25, plus 3 later round picks, isn't that bad a price to pay. They don't have that many holes they are trying to fill in the draft.

I thought it was a lot, until I saw how late their 1st round pick this year is.

I guess James Carpenter isn't all that bad... Had to look him up a bit. Was the #2 Guard in the draft, and has pretty good durability. We will see how it pans out.

For Julio Jones at #6. Incase some were wondering.

Kind of werid not having rookie FA signing.

Yeah, its normally better for Rookies to not get drafted than to get picked in the 6th or 7th round. If they get drafted that late, they will have to fight just to earn a spot on the team, and they may have not gone to a team that has openings at the position or positions they can play. If they go undrafted, they can choose among a few teams that are interested in them, and go to the team which gives them the best shot at making the squad.

But rather than having a few teams get in touch with you after the draft, now all the undrafted rookies get nothing at all, and they don't know whether or not any teams will be interested in them.

It really sucks for them :(

Do what I did. I was raised in DC, moved to St Louis for a few years, switched my allegiance to the Rams, then stayed a Rams fan when I moved back to the DC area.

Although that hasn't exactly been fun the last few years. But its looking better for us, at least.

I like our draft this year, especially the first 4 picks (a pass rushing DE, a receiving TE, and two possession receivers to pair with the speedier guys Avery and Clayton).

I'd put money on the Rams winning the division Rock. Maybe not advancing in the playoffs yet ... but you have the only established quarterback in the West
