It should be blindly obvious to anyone that Dict is massively overpowered as a war goverment.

Recent event have led me to think that some kind of middle east/North Africa revolt scenerio could be introduced to cripple the country at times. Heck you could even impliment a whole hapiness scale into the game that can be influenced by gov/readiness/economy/military(too little or too much can hurt?), etc.... Just randomly ranting.

Massively overpowered yet still not the best?

It's not over powered, just specialised like the others.

For a war, yes it's good. I should go make a thread how Demo's suck for war and how underpowered they are.

But a lot of the war people said it was blindly obvious that dict was too weak because we removed the weapons tech bug.

I guess I'll take the middle position between the two blindly obvious ones and do nothing.

if alliance A was all dictators, and allaince b was all tyrs. same missiles, same NW, etc etc. alliance b would win simply from having more hits and being able to out grow the dicts at a faster rate :P

Maybe, maybe not. Clan A would be able to make much faster kills, limiting wallers.

If alliance A was dicts, Alliance B was Tyrs, all B would have to do, is do a good ol AB run. Dicts cannot recover really from that, Tyrs itll just slow them down slightly.

Clan B would be able to make faster kills, since the +20% gains affects civilians killed by special attacks. +20% gains means you have to do fewer attacks to get a kill. If you're a smart tyranny, you have also have a page open for exploring/building/teching and you simply refresh that page after each attack to keep your readiness up. Or you're a finisher and you can let your readiness go down to 40% without any problem.

Assuming the players are intelligent (which in many cases is a faulty assumption), tyrannies will kill faster. Then again if players are not intelligent, then their degree of understanding of Earth Empires will matter a lot more than their government type.

The tyranny 1 turn attack bonus only allows them to do more attacks when they use their missile stockpile up in the first day. After that, readiness losses make sure that countries can do an equal number of attacks, assuming they are using a small enough portion of their army to get minimal readiness loss on each attack.

For breaking, when readiness loss is higher than the minimum, the dictator military strength bonus will allow them to lose less readiness by using a smaller portion of their army to break. Thus, if anything, Dictators can attack more than Tyrannies, not the other way around.

i was kinda going on the fact that a dict can spam 63 hits in a row while a tyr can only spam 19

63 in a row would make a kill much faster. forget the returns

depends if you multie tab the tyr ford you'll be about a second or two behind.

And I would never rush hit 63 hits ;) That would leave you at 37% readiness (if counting minimal readiness loss)
