The developers would rather prohibit you from attacking player in GDI than to add a column indicating whether a country is a bot when the same feature has been added elsewhere on other servers.

Aside from that, mercs has a publicly hosted a text file for everyone to use to help find bots. The list updates every set and should be mostly accurate.

I thank "s" for sharing the java he wrote which produces the output files.

My bpt is 90.. im not gonna make it past 60k I don't think (I started a month late and wayy oversend on my bot hits heh) but is 90 a good bpt?
If for 200k goal next reset.. ideal bpt would be?
And when do I build them, all in the first days or..?

I know how much you hate letters in math, but this one's easy I promise.

It's not a perfect formula, but it's close enough for jazz. If you ever want to know how much BPT you should have for any land goal, a good rule of thumb is:

√(Land Goal)/2 = BPT

If your land goal is 60k, √(60,000)/2 = 122 BPT

Again, not a perfect formula but I'm not a perfect player and that formula is close enough. If you've already built a bunch of acres, that would go down a little bit. 90 BPT is probably in the neighborhood but a few more CS wouldn't hurt.

Depends on prices and I'm not playing the server to just shoot you a number. As a rule of thumb tho, one farm at max tech will produce 14 bushels and 1 rig will produce 3 oil. If bushels are 40 and oil is 200, it makes sense to primarily build rigs towards the end of the set.

14 × 40 = 560
3 × 200 = 600

If food is 50 tho, and oil is 200, it could make sense to build more farms. Basically if oil is under 5x the price of food, I tend to build more farms. If oil is 5x or more the price of food, I build almost exclusively rigs after oil prices go up mid-set.

the exact ratio is 7.73928571429 to 1 bushels to oil

I usually just go 8 to one because extra bushels are needed at the end for cash to destroy buildings...etc

just noticed your question about BPT. The way I do it is i set a land goal of let's say 90k acres the square root of 90k is 300 divide that by 2 and you get 150 which is a good BPT for 90k acres.

Yeah. For a standard oil destock you want about 8 food to 1 oil. The extra 0.2 food only helps you pay for destruction costs and youll usually still be under on food a nominal amount if you stock at 8:1 and do a standard oil destock. Snoop is spot on. If you're going to get more nw because you use the strat and spreadsheet I sent you tho, it's far less oil lol. But you still want to build whatever you can sell highest and buy the one that is cheaper.

Anyone know how many bots there are in the alliance server? I'm wondering how many real players there are basically. If I finish top ten I want to know if it's top ten of out 400 real players, or top ten out of 60 real players lol.
