Just like SOL, in order to have a chance to win, they FS 10 days into the set, not to mention FS'ing one alliance that seems to have alot of reps/demo's, and theo's.

Weak war dec, Mak. Unchaining? Provoking or arousing would have been much more fitting. Lack of heart and effort.

I hope the LCN dec is less dry.

ROFLMAO, Well, well, well, this is a hoot indeed. :)

I can't think of a better reason for a fight than REVENGE, it works well for me, too bad I'm not in it. LOL

REVENGE is ALWAYS one of the best reasons for a beat down.

Citadel did it to Heineken and Pinoy. And it felt just great when it was done. :)

honestly im a bit suprised SOL was respectable enough to include an additional clan to make the numbers even. after last set they would have been justified in killing just MD first.

hopefully this stays a clean war and no more allies are called in. otherwise it just becomes a mess.

(Disclaimer: I am not playing thus not in MD this reset)

But SoL made a good move by also hitting LCN, they are obviously doing this to force MD's hand and pre-select which ally MD 'can' bring in (must be pleasant to decide for your enemy who they can bring in and then really expect things to stay like that...)

SoL thinks they will have the best chance of winning if they hit MD and LCN, as oppossed to MD/LaF combo or MD/SoF combo (not aware of pacting, as again I am not playing :P).

Must be nice for SoL is the war remained just as it is now, everything selected exactly to their best wishes, knowing their weak political clout makes this the best option for them.

Now it's hoping (for SoL anyway) that MD and LCN will give SoL their best option war or if they choose to go back to netgaining as soon as possible.

And now back to not playing and not reading this forum heh :P

We've given LCN/MD an ultimatum - either grow a set, or don't. You think it benefits us to give away networth and member advantages? You are still stuck in your bullfluff little world where you think offensive coalitions are cool. The game is better off you don't play, and better still, if you stayed that way, joining the hordes of one-and-done MD pussies who also left the game after one set.

Thanks for your (non) contribution.

- I think SOF is attempting to stay out of a direct confrontation with SOL for the time being, otherwise they would of set up a war by now or atleast been involved directly in some way (maybe they are waiting to have even amount of members before a direct war?).

- Laf wouldn't get involved in a war this reset unless they could set it up where they would end up being able to net at the end of the set. Laf already warred last set, constant war would not bold well for them.

- Also, your comments make it seem as if your hinting that SOF/LAF/MD have very strong pacts together and wish harm towards SOL. Thanks for the info.

- It was shown last set that multiple people can hit SOL through a gang bang. Now is a time for even wars. If another allaince was to get involved, it would end up being bad for MD&Co in the long run I think.

- I am glad you think is going to win this war, but I honestly think its going to be a pretty tough battle. MD has very strong wallers and LCN is a very well rounded alliance (In a war i think LCN would win over Laf anyways).

Time for sleeps, maybe this thread will become more interesting tommorow.

for amusement, a totally unrelated clan should randomly pick a side in this war, then randomly swap sides all set long... just for fluffs and giggles and to make sure it all stays fairly even :P

lec·ture
–noun
1. a speech read or delivered before an audience or class, especially for instruction or to set forth some subject: a lecture on Picasso's paintings.
2. a speech of warning or reproof as to conduct; a long, tedious reprimand.

_________

A single phrase of obviousness is hardly lecturing.

I was using the term more metaphorically, but single phrases can have great meaning and great debate (2nd Amendment, anyone?).

Speaking of words and meanings, here's a story on the use of the word 'obvious'. From the story:

Repetition of such words, he said, are common with certain personalities. "It's a matter of intimidation. It says, 'If this isn't obvious to you, you're an idiot.' "

More than that, Lakoff said, "it presupposes that what you're about to say is true. It keeps people from asking more questions or from challenging you."

Lakoff said he encounters the word fairly often in academic circles, along with a few other similar words and phrases: "As anyone can tell," "It's long been known," "Clearly."
