That's the state of the game nowadays unfortunately, populated by lame players who forgot the original mantra of Pang/Qzjul "simple game with complex outcomes". They would much rather play with bots that dont retal (ie plaing with themselves) than humans.

3 times in a round will get you flattened. Im still surprised that idiot police country didnt com after you.

Im surprised the server police didnt come after you for 2 x triple taps. These are the self-righteous people that watch the news and kill coubtries that dont fit their view of 'correct' grabbing 'for the good of the game'.

A triple tap would have got you turned in to a parking lot 15 years ago in a solo server. If you choose to triple tap - make sure you have plenty of defense.

SoreAirbag is winning this nicely.

I like the tactic of DH on other alliances so that tgey take some of the land he farms from those idiots in Elders.

Although SoreAirbag is untagged a fluff move from #71 to RoR and the #65 to put in dr's is asking for trouble. Elders will end up killing #11 and create the possibility of a suicider for the whole reset.

If you are killing then Stir Rebs helps greatly, particularly on express as turns regaining readiness are still reducing population.

If you want to create a parking lot Bomb Buildings are useful as well as turns regaining readiness are still destroying buildings.

I'm technically a millennial (born in 1980) - with Gen X values and work ethic. I have spent a grand total of 2 months of my life on government benefits in my life and hated every moment of it - it was so depressing (it took me 2 months to find a job where I could support myself after finishing uni). I'm now an internationally published music composer, music teacher, semi-professional trumpet player (hence my nick - trump being trumpet and oz being an Aussie)....... currently enjoying Long Service Leave after 11 years as a full time teacher.

I also enjoy being an ass, winding up and laughing at highly-strung arrogant people on forums such as this one.

Any country on the server is fair game. Pacts make some countries less desirable to hit. Bots mean no retals. Untagged or one-player tags offer the opportunity of greater returns. Just don't cry when the human gets revenge.

Why double tap? Simple there are idiots with such small def who needed to be reminded that this is a gamed based on attacking others for advantage....... educated as you may put it. It seems that the community has forgotten the original premis of this game - I quote Qzjul "simple game mechanics with complex outcomes" (that was made when I played in Evo under the name Londwell - I cant remember the resets) Complex outcomes are the human element - I dont like the the way people retal for a simple double tap on a under-defended country. That is the complex outcome. The complex outcome for killing me is I will take revenge the following reset, or whenever I see the country name again. If you take away that element then you might as well play in a simulator with a random market. What a bloody boring game.

Two different approaches - neither one is 'right', just different.

Yet by sittig in GDI it denies the killed country revenge over a BS 'policy'....... not even a restart gets to come back at the country that killed it because of GDI (though the restart bonus is another thing completely that needs balancing). It is the game mechanics that people use to try and make themselves untouchable and that is what I have issue with. I havent played for the last 3 resets in express but sure as hell there are people on my fluff list that will not net in peace when I get back home.

This can only happen if people use the same country name. Want to net peacefully - use a different country name.

I have no problem with SS/PS retal or even pancaking a country. Killing a country is another thing......

What is funny is that I see someone who kills over a double tap as an asshat...... that person will be targetted next reset by me.

When I see an asshat I will treat them as such. Gonna have fun playing express when I get back from vacation. Not played for 3 weeks as it is too intense speed-wise for travelling overseas.

YOU are being targetted are because of YOUR actions..... the 2 hits = kill policy is getting you what is owed. You a are an incredible netter (anyone can see that) but kill countries for more than 1 hit when you are relying on little more than prayer for defense and people WILL extract revenge.....
