It already increases civ kills and i love having it maxed

Edit: if civ kill increases were removed to incorporate this netter's land sharing measure, i and a lot of other war mongers would be annoyed beyond measure.

Not sure of the reasoning of this other than to share land easier, and i really can't see it selling more because of it

and yea.. 4.7bil is a bit steep. i know a few rounds back they got a lot of top spots.. but at that time i'm sure you, gregg, were acusing me of being an LaE member.

i would say that they may have got about 200mil NW max, can't see much more than that. and even 200mil sounds a bit high.

wonder if the total NW of an express server is even ~4.7bil.

kind of a nub question.

1 civ CM attack isn't always a kill. CM's are also based on the amount of civs that your country has when you send it.

seeing as he had 0 civs(or even the 5 civs before he "died") the CM would only be able to kill 1 civ.

so, therefore, the only country that died was the one that was SS'd for 1 acre.

45 NW is just the NW for the 1 acre of land and a max of 5 civs.

what i'm really unsure about is why the no0b is OOP. it can be done in less than 30 turns.

nah... the ingame forum for clans sucked on old earth, and as i've mentioned in another thread, it would need "patrolled" to some degree by game mods/admins to ensure the game was living up to its values. maybe just a "report this post" link would suffice, but meh.

I could see something like this working much better for the Team server and removing 3rd party access to it. but ingame news/scores quality would need to be greatly increased.

i do agree that the theo government didn't need any help, as it constantly gets placed in the top 10 of all servers.

but as long as these netters put in some upgrades for wargaining as well as netgaining, i'll not gripe too much.

i don't agree with dibs. mixing clans sites with that goes on in EE would not be a bad thing. clan's forum rules would have to be tightened to match those of EE's ingame rules in order to keep a good image for the game, and then game mods/admins(such as those that run/participate in other alliances) would have to be the ones that were ultimately held responsible for bad content on the forum posts, so you'd have to see a lot more EE Admins intervene in internal clan affairs.

hope that made sense.

i think that the current mods have a lot more control over how secure third party sites are these days, because if they feel that a third party site isn't up to par with security, they can simply pull their access to the API's(wasn't possible before) and the sites would become null and void.. this method is probably the best method to use. if DM's site for LaE turns out to not be very secure(and I can see this happening, simply with it being so new) then the admins for EE can easilly enforce DM to improve the security or risk losing the stats access he has.

not picking on LaE, just using as an example. would even apply if my site, http://www.letskillstuff.org was found to be insecure or involved in cheating of some form(which i seriously doubt it would ever be).

was just going to post about this as well, but Qzjul beat me to it.

will mention that third party sites couldn't really do much in regards to keyloggers except to block the use of JS/etc on their site.

also, at least on the part of LKS, we go to great lengths to ensure the security of our database and login details. even gaining access to the hashed data on our cookies would lead you nowhere, as we use various other methods as well as the cookie to match the user to the information stored in our database.




basically, the idea that all 3rd party sites fail in comparison to the game's security is just ludicrous. it hasn't even been proven that LaE's site is to blame.. it's probably just propaganda for NA/LaE to save face and cause confusion over the fact that they've been caught with their pants down.

That would be an awesome missile to be able to create as a clan, either by pooling resources and making it or by each country being able to produce small parts of this missile. The parts could be tradeable but not sellable and maybe limit it to one piece per trade. Would have to be very hard to find the pieces to.

Maybe even limit the amount of this missile could be created in a set(for everyone not just single countries)

That would be really cool. Also don't put on solo servers.

90% chance to kill the target and 10% to kill the sender.

Heh. I'd assume that the "false market orders" spy op would be in place by the time any of this was put in. Tho, they may decide to change their minds and not implement it.

I'm sure game admins could figure out what happens to every good, no matter if its at home or on market. Our job is to feed viable ideas. Its up to the admins whether it gets introduced or not and also up to them on the specifics on how it worked.

Personally, i'd like a little more less predictability of this game where everyone playing knows nearly every equation in relation to gameplay.

I'm sure a lot of the good ideas will get put in when this game starts gaining players instead of losing them

Could work it into the idea of clans actually declaring war on another clan ingame. Or regular dow on solo servers.

To make it more interesting, could limit it to the last 200 or whatever hits on the dead country and still base it off civs killed. Would mean that mid breakers get the most. Wouldn't have too many problems with breakers being annoyed because they'd get their turn to be midbreakers. Might start seeing spoil campers tho. But that would make internal affairs of a clan a bit more interesting

Implementing this idea, with strict guidelines(like last X attacks) wouldn't be a programming nightmare. It would be an awesome improvement to the game.

Even if there was a max spoils a country could get per kill, to deter opportunistic kills.

Game developers should be able to make some decisions on how much and what would be included in the spoils.

This has been suggested before.

Giving it just to the one making the killing hit is ludicrous. Should be divided out to everyone who hit based on civs killed. This way so called so called solo kills would still get all the loot but team efforts would reward all involved.

More conquest gameplay would completely change game dynamics

I liked knowing that i could over sell and not lose cash, tho i still tried to stay under 2bil as much as possible.

I don't think it was, in any way, bad for this server tho, as bushels were still ~40 to 50 average all round.

I think its a good addition. Makes gameplay a bit more interesting.
