10/3 < 5, so I'm not sure if they would be more effective.

I have a few objections to this. Giving countries 4% warfare off the bat will have a chilling effect on landgrabbing and will directly reduce the land pool on the server. In addition, suppose that we increased the number of missiles while keeping their efficacy constant. This would make tyrannies stronger and make SDI less valuable.

It would also make cash starts better, though I'm not sure if I have a problem with that.

Your idea of what is "good for the game" appears to be random destruction. The end of set rankings are determined by final networth, not total networth destroyed. We encourage countries to resolve legitimate disputes in whatever way they see fit, but we also try to prevent abuse of game mechanics. For example, a country should not be able to drop to 1A with a few minutes left in the set in order to do destructive spy ops on any country in the game.

The amount of tech you steal is determined by the relative amount of each in each category. If you didn't have any SDI and your target had 1000000 you would still get nothing.

If you used tanks or troops your o ally would also lose tanks and troops. In the old system, you could send 100k jets and have your allies send 50k tanks in support, but your allies would not lose any military. Grabbers could double their offensive power essentially for free by allying all-X countries with decent amounts of tanks and troops.

Your interpretation is not correct. It will not prevent the strategy that you submitted.

If you wish to look at it in a simple way, the ease of killing a country is related to how much land a country has. Countries with very small amounts of land are vulnerable to landkills. The first numbered change makes it more difficult to stonewall landkills. The second numbered change removes a defensive option for some countries. If a country has a lot of population, it can drop its land to increase tech and spal levels while still retaining its former population. The fourth numbered change prevents countries from putting 2B worth of stock on the market, going into vacation, logging in, spending the money, putting 2B more worth of stock on the market, going into vacation, and so on.

We started with a set of principles and created a spy operation success formula based on those principles. One of those principles was that a country should never have a 100% chance of successfully carrying out a spy op. Against countries with 0 spies, the chance of failure is very low (less than 5%).

We are currently reviewing that formula.

In the meantime, remember that ingame alliances are free on the team server. Thus, there's no reason not to ally everyone in your tag. Communicating with the "message all allies" option (we have that, right?) should be fairly efficient.

EVO won a 1v1 war around a year ago after we accepted TIE's challenge.

Your comments about enjoying war are pretty hilarious considering you've done nothing in the new game except get killed and run untagged suiciders. I've won a variety of wars on a variety of servers, some worth bragging about, some not.
