Australia is nothing like that unless you head out into some of the dodgy outback towns where they just shoot people.

In the city there used to be areas that you couldn't walk through without getting stabbed. Recently I was walking near one of the worse spots, theres still police everywhere but I saw an international student walk down the previously worst street in Sydney like it was nothing. Going down that street 5-10 years ago was asking to be stabbed. They appeared to have improved the area by moving all the people that lived there away... though I am not sure where too.

The subburb was dodgy, but that street had the reputation that was from the 70s, there used to be only one path maintained by a police presence from 7am to 6am that you could walk through. Apart from that one student, everyone else kept to the normal path that you walk through the subburb.

I would just like to say that so far Imag's performance has be commendable, with a good HPK and now good walling, which is evident from the high-ish HPK Sol has.

I believe credit is well deserved, that they still choose to fight despite the odds and rather than accepting a ceasefire, choose to stick to their beliefs and ideologies. This is something that should not be disrespected.

I have fought against and with Imag on many occassions, and I believe that insulting their clan is uncalled for.

I think Clinton was pretty good except for some of his tastes in women.

You can blame Obama's policies for not helping the working class man enough however what they prevented was a second great depression. Think more like global 60% unemployment and ten years to recover.

On the otherhand, executive bonuses are totally disconnected from actual company performance, with the arguement 'we have to pay to get the best and to be competitive'. Its rather pathetic, because the stockmarket likes short term profit not long term stability. Goldern parachutes are a joke too. Here's half a billion dollars for running the company into the ground and helping destroy the world economy YAY!!.

Good storage = excuse not to introduce decay into oil.

Oil unlike cash and bushels is not as great to stockpile as the market value crashes near the end of the reset. As a result decay is not needed.

Why don't we get oil when we capture land? surely there are some marsh land that we capture :O

Incorrect, the Australian Labor governments hates universities and education. They effectively destroyed the university sector by reducing the number of international students by 40% nationally over 4 years (a loss of 2 billion dollars). Which will result in a 10-20% decline in domestic student places that were subsidised. Labor also banned full fee paying domestic students which reduced numbers by a further 5%.

Thats a 25% reduction in domestic student places over 4 years...
yay education. Rather than increasing conditions for cadetships in trade occupations, simiply slash the number of university graduates. yay!

5% number does not count hardcore unemployeed who are not looking for work so it is a slight underestimation.

Well using an uncertainty model, there is a probability that it equals 1, though its rather quite small and that could be due to measurement error.

Yes but some Laf members, not Laf clan, have done some dodgy stuff whilst they were over committed to winning at netgaining. The same point is true for Evo to.

I don't believe there were official policies by either clan to do some dodgy things. However overcommitted members most likely acted on their own. My opinion both clans are/were lax in certain areas, where it came to enforcing ethics.

From what I know of both clans and members I know;
Evo had coodinaton problems for a long time which let people get away with things.
Laf in the distant past (eg 5 years ago), used to turn a blind eye to activities that helped netgaining.

FA chains are probably the only thing that was coodinated and thats hardly that dodgy from my perspective.

I am not bashing either clan, merely giving a realistic opinion in a thread dominated by flaming. No clan is perfect, every clan has made mistakes.

I remember in highschool year 9 (years ago), it was in one class, and there were a lot of guys in our grade at the time playing earth (eg. 100). There were Solers, Lafers and maybe camelot? discussing strategy, when one of our class mates joined in and they asked what clan he was in, and he said He joined Sof, and the other guy replied "you better be careful who you say that too, you might get bashed"

hahahahaha omg its funny, the next year these were the guys that tried to go full ganster. Some of them did end up in jail (gaol) though :X.

That was pretty much my point Hanlong. I am generally pro-laf and pro-Evo, but both sides are accusing each other of stuff that both sides have done at some stage and both sides are saying that its unfair.

If the forum had a point system I'd vote hanlong +1 and Jelly -1.

Its like two pots calling each other a black kettle. Both sides need to control your members beter if they are doing unsanctioned dodgy things. Or live with people slagging off.

Insiders do not forgive outsiders for the same transgressions they make. It doesn't take a psychology degree to know that... well it might.

ICQ and MSN were/are terrible for computer security.

It reminds me of when we tested remote access shut down on our server but then hadn't checked whether remote access wake up was enabled... Different to being hacked but was just us being stupid.

Sorry I am banned from mentioning the {bloop} clan. I know its really stupid, but i'd need 2/3 reds to agree to overturn my ban on mentioning them. However they didn't say I couldn't bend the order a bit.

Laf had land farms in 2001, I watched lafers in my high school library doing it. They would gs themselves a bit then take a ton of retails.

That certainly doesn't mean it was sanctioned but it was done quite a lot. I punched a dude over it cause I though it was cheating.

I won the fight and we were friends again after. Hahaha that was the most panzy fight ever. If my friend read this post it would probably start another fight I would win.
