Theo Techer for the majority of the round for me, then switch to Theo MBR. I don't know if that's any good in today's game, but we will see.

Grow consistently and retal as much grabs as possible, that's my advice to people returning or playing for first time here ;-)

Today I learned that when people don’t know who you are in the early game, sometimes they grab you and give you free retals. Very exciting

That’s certainly a strategy worth considering...forfeit early 100-300 acres for a potential 3000-5000 acre retal.

There's no rules here. Gdi protects you for 1 hit per country. If you hit some1 that knows how to play early on, they'll retal you weeks later. You can respond with more retals, but you will then be open to all attacks.

I dont hit any1 early if their op shows they understand the game.

The assumption that everyone has a god given right to a retal *without* repercussions... I think that's naive, and an overly simplistic view of the land-grabbing risk/reward mechanic. nope.. there are many instances where the top hit the bottom.. the bottom will never be able to retal within 24-48 hours.. some of those top guys at initial start will fade away eventually, and some of those bottom (who may be doing tech start) can end up at top.. besides, many of the players here will not honor a 1 to 1 hit.. so for me, i will retal normally when i feel comfortable that the guy will not be able to ROR.. so it will usually be later in the round, which also increase my land gain in my retal..

Its a solo server so you get away with what you enforce. I have no prob retaling a hit late set. If you don't like it I guess we get to war and your set is ruined anyway. Either way I get mine.
