I would say a bear has a good chance against a Viking, it would come down to luck on both sides. A group of Vikings versus a group of bears? I'd have to say the superior organization of the Vikings would win everytime. Then again, are we talking about a group of hungry enraged bears protecting their cubs versus unarmed Vikings?
