I turn on my ps3, switch to my hdmi output... and this thing shows up saying the hard drive database needs rebuilt...

I'll kill sony if my data is lost! >.<

Damn... I'd murder someone if something happened to my PS3 :) Mine is one of the backwards compatible 80GB platforms. I bought it at the end of 2007 when they were still new. System name: PS3-577 XD

when i bought my first ps3, it was the day that metal gear solid 4 came out, I wanted to get the MGS4 bundle cause it was a backwards compatible machine, gamestop exclusive yadda yadda yadda

those fluffers at sony only released 4 consoles to each store.

i waited in line for 2 days outside a Future Shop when the PS3 was first released.

My friends and I were numbers 1 through 4 in line.
The day we got them, we went home and put em up online and sold them for more than twice the price :P
