This will certainly be my last set on EXPRESS until these bot changes get fixed. There's only one strategy that makes sense playing.

If there is only one strat to play, then you should be able to win every set. So stop whining and start winning and prove your point slick

tech is the best government theoretically though... In real life

IRL with oiler you get americans to build your infrastructure which you then nationalize for free. You raise the price to forty times true market value and depend on the American military to defend you against the blow back so you buy a few show planes and that's it, no military costs. Then you impose tariffs on amrican goods all the while chanting death to America and teaching your kids that americans are sub-human.

The game does not have any of these built in benefits for oilers. It is high past time to change that.

From now on when you decide to have more than half your acreage in labs you must buy the military for a third world country, build their infrastructure and buy goods from them at whatever price they deem fit.

Then maybe teching will not be the default choice for those who have not graduated from obsession with NW.

I'm not sure why everyone associates teching with netting only.
If you war a country whose income is 10x yours it's a no-brainer who has the advantage.

Oiler strat sucks on EXPRESS because it's not consumed enough. Plus, it's capped.
1 Oiler literally could supply the entire server. Remember- bots do not buy oil.

If an attack required like 10x the oil as it currently does then an oiler strategy may actually be worth trying.

I bet I could make a bot finish top10 on EXPRESS.
